BAD ART: A 3-Hour Silent Creative Retreat with Amenah Arman

What would you create if it didn’t have to be good? Join therapist & artist Amenah Arman for quiet, reflection, and art without judgement! We’re trying something a little different after hours. Join Amenah Arman, NCC, LGPC, therapist, artist, and creator of BAD ART with MindFull Healing Collective, for an evening designed to help you get curious about what happens between wanting to create something and actually creating it. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist. You don’t need to arrive with an idea. You just have to be curious. Through silence, guided reflection, and creative work, we’ll move through three parts: MEET YOU Slow down, get quiet, and notice what you’re drawn toward. MEET THE BLOCK Get curious about the perfectionism, fear, expectations, and internal voices that can interrupt the creative process. MAKE ANYWAY Then make something. No critique. No requirement that it be good. Just room to experiment, make a mess, change your mind, and keep going. You may leave with something beautiful. You may leave with something terrible. Either way, you made something. And that’s the point. Much of the evening is intentionally silent, creating more room to notice your own thoughts, resistance, and creative impulse without the pressure to explain or compare.
