Soil Prep Demonstration Garden Workshop

Connect with your community and enjoy getting your hands in the dirt while helping DC Natives build a healthier pollinator corridor across the District. This demonstration garden workshop will teach participants how to prepare soil and use native pollinator plants to provide habitat and food for bees, butterflies, moths, and more! This event will take place in the yard of a private residence. Please be mindful of neighbors when parking and traveling to the planting site. Please bring garden gloves if you have them and wear closed-toe shoes. While the event is free and open to the public, we ask that you sign a volunteer waiver to participate. A DC Natives Block Captain will contact you with specific address information after registration.
