Join us for a 10-week Walking Moai inspired by the Blue Zones Power 9®. Take a break from your workday and join Blue Zones Project Allentown for a 10-week Downtown Lunch Walking Moai! Whether you work downtown, own a business, or simply enjoy being part of the community, this is a great opportunity to move naturally, meet new people, and build meaningful connections. Led by Blue Zones Project Allentown Ambassador Christa Held, each weekly walk will follow the Urban Greenway, a network of 1-mile and 2-mile paved fitness walking loops created by Phantoms Charities that pass through the heart of Downtown Allentown and by the PPL Center. Participants can choose to walk approximately ½ mile, 1 mile, or up to 2 miles at a comfortable pace. What to Expect: * Weekly lunchtime walks through Downtown Allentown * Walk at your own pace (½ mile, 1 mile, or 2 miles) * Connect with downtown professionals, business owners, and community members * Build new friendships and expand your professional network * Reduce stress and recharge during your lunch break * Enjoy a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment Who Should Attend? This Moai is open to all Downtown Allentown businesses, employees, residents, and community members. No walking experience is necessary—just bring comfortable shoes and a willingness to connect!
