Anchorage Regional Landfill tours with Kelli Toth of SWS

Come tour your local landfill with Kelli Toth, Director of Solid Waste Services Tours are free and will be happening on the first three Wednesdays in September (2nd, 9th, 16th). Click on the Check Availability button to schedule. Space is limited to 12 attendees per tour date. If you are interested in a tour and it is fully booked or none of these dates work you, please contact [email protected] to schedule a tour time that works best for you. Driving directions and tour essentials: Upon arriving at the landfill, turn immediately to your left after the median and then immediately right into the parking lot on your right. This will bring you to the Admin building for SWS. The tour bus will be outside as will SWS staff to greet you. Park anywhere you find a spot. See map below. Make sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring appropriate layers. While we do our best to manage landfill odors, if you are sensitive to smell, feel free to bring a mask for your own comfort.
