While the University of Michigan has long been one of the country's leading research institutions, they saw an opportunity to strengthen the connections between students, founders, investors, operators, researchers, alumni, and others interested in building impactful companies and ideas. The objective: to give students and the broader community an understanding of venture capital and the startup ecosystem — and hopefully inspire more students to join tech. And with Michigan taking on Iowa on Saturday, September 26th, it's going to be a great weekend to be in Ann Arbor. Go Blue!
