Join Five Lakes CrossFit x Coach Kiwi for the HYROX Half Simulation — a race-style training experience designed to give you the intensity, structure, and energy of HYROX at half the distance of a full HYROX race. Whether you're preparing for your first HYROX, already have a race on the calendar, are a seasoned competitor, or simply want to challenge your fitness — this event is for you. You do not have to be an experienced HYROX athlete to participate. Come test your engine, learn how to manage the transitions between running and functional stations, experience the demands of HYROX, and see where your current fitness stands. THE DETAILS Saturday, October 24, 2026 First Heat: 7:00 AM New heats will begin approximately every 10 minutes. Location: Five Lakes CrossFit 24269 Indoplex Circle Farmington Hills, MI Registration is required. Space is limited. Participants will select either the Singles or Doubles division when registering. THE HALF SIMULATION You’ll complete approximately half the volume of an official HYROX race: • 500m Run 500m SkiErg • 500m Run 25m Sled Push • 500m Run 25m Sled Pull • 500m Run 40m Burpee Broad Jumps • 500m Run 500m Row • 500m Run 100m Farmer Carry • 500m Run 50m Sandbag Lunges • 500m Run 50 Wall Balls That’s 4K of total running + all 8 HYROX functional stations. The goal is to give you an opportunity to experience the flow and fatigue of a HYROX race without completing the full race volume. SINGLES OR DOUBLES — YOU CHOOSE Singles: Take on the entire simulation yourself and see what you can do. Doubles: Grab a partner and tackle the simulation together. You'll run together and share the workload of the functional stations. Doubles is a great option for newer athletes who want to experience HYROX alongside a training partner.
