No Stigma For generations, the barbershop has been more than just a place for a haircut, it has been the heartbeat of our community. It's where we go to vent, to laugh, and to find guidance. The Barbershop Talk Program is continuing that tradition, transforming the shop into a sanctuary for mental wellness. Investing in men's mental health is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves, our families, and our communities. Yet too often, BIPOC boys and young men are expected to carry the weight alone. We believe that healing starts with honest conversation—and we're meeting you where you already feel comfortable. What to Expect at the Workshop: This is not a lecture; it is a community conversation. Join us for an in-person series where a licensed therapist facilitates open dialogue about the topics that matter most to men and boys today. What could be discussed: • Anxiety & Stress Management • Grief and Loss • Self-Esteem and Identity • Relationships and Communication • Navigating Depression The Experience: • Mindful Moment: We begin every session by grounding ourselves and setting the intention for a safe space. • Community Connection: We break down walls through introductions and shared experiences. • Expert Facilitation: A licensed therapist guides the conversation, offering professional insight and coping strategies. Bringing together generations: Ages 14+ Our Impact: We have already served individuals across three states, and we are expanding in 2026 to reach even more of our community.
