What You'll Do During this interactive workshop, you will be guided through the process of organizing information that may be helpful during an emergency or transition in care, including: • Emergency contacts • Family and caregiver information • Physicians and healthcare providers • Medication information and reminders • Allergies and important health information • Insurance information • Important documents and where they are located • Information your family may need during an unexpected hospitalization or discharge Why Create an Emergency Binder? When something unexpected happens, family members may need information quickly. Having important details organized ahead of time can make it easier for your loved ones, caregivers, and others involved in your care to understand your needs and know where to find important information. This workshop gives you dedicated time and guidance to start putting that information together before you need it.
