Not Another Black Pride Comedy Show!

Black queer comedy, culture, shade & truth collide in the State of the Union for Black queers. The revolution will not be televised, bitch! NOT ANOTHER BLACK PRIDE COMEDY SHOW BLACK QUEERS and ALLIES, Can we talk? (rip Joan Rivers) The state of the Union? A MESS.The state of Black Pride? We’ve got notes. The solution? A microphone, a room full of Black queers, and some very funny motherfuckers. Not Another Black Pride Comedy Show is back for another night of Black queer comedy, culture, shade, and straight-up truth. Think of it as the State of the Union for Black queers everywhere—except there’s no podium, no politicians, and nobody is getting away with giving us a boring speech. Veteran queer comedians take the stage to talk about the shit we’re actually living through: relationships, sex, family, politics, Black culture, queer life, survival, and the absurdity of existing in an increasingly unsafe world. This is comedy for people who need to LOL before they fuggin' scream. A safe space in an unsafe world. Come for the jokes.Stay for the chaos. THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED, BITCH! It’ll be live. It’ll be loud. It’ll be Black. It’ll be queer. Pull up. The State of Our Union is officially in session. If any of the language or topics in this note make you uncomfortable, stay your ass home! Luh Yew Hea, -Heather Mahogani
