Learn how to use leaves and flowers of plants to create a unique print directly on paper that will surprise you! The Learning Garden presents: Thursdays in the Learning Garden Eco-Printing: Making Prints Using Leaves and Flowers - Session #1 Thursday, September 24 , 2026 10:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. IN-PERSON PROGRAM Location: NC Cooperative Extension , Buncombe County Center, 49 Mount Carmel Road , Asheville, NC 28806 Presenters: Joyce Tromba and Pat Strang - Extension Master GardenerSM Volunteers Join us in The Learning Garden to use the leaves and flowers of the end of summer in a process called Eco-printing. This is a technique that uses leaves and flowers of plants to print directly onto paper. Time and heat transfer the pigments and tanning from the plant to leave a permanent image. Each print is unique, and the results are always a surprise. The class is free but we request a $5 dollar donation to cover the costs of materials. Please bring cash. Registration: The talk is free but registration via Eventbrite is required. To ensure a good learning experience, attendance will be limited.
