Live Music - Stevens and Keller

LIVE MUSIC IN THE LIVING ROOM Friday nights at After/Glow aren’t polished or predictable. They’re raw, unfiltered, and loud in all the right ways. Grab a drink, find your spot, and get lost in the grit and soul of a live set as Stevens & Keller takes over the space and redefines the sound of The Radical.Hailing from Chicago and San Francisco, step into the 1920s-1950s with Stacy Stevens, aka “Stella.” Stacy serenades with songs from artists such as Julie London, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and others. Stacy’s voice has been described as “smoky & sultry" due to having both intensely studied and performed jazz locally to audience’s in large and intimate venues. Dan apprenticed with guitar virtuoso Marc Yaxley in 2003, playing throughout the US before diving into Western North Carolina's talented music scene. While living in Asheville, Dan has performed with many of the area's accomplished musicians and as a soloist. Although jazz is a primary influence, he performs and is influenced by Classical and Popular music as well. He currently teaches Jazz Ensemble and Applied Jazz Guitar at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, NC. THE LIVING ROOM AT THE RADICAL | EVERY FRIDAY | 7 PM - 10 PM
