Intentions The Women's Dance Temple is a ceremony intentionally created for the cyclical nature of woman. It is an intimate space for healing release, deeply embodied connection, remembrance, prayer, beauty and up-liftment in sisterhood. The movement supports the empowerment and liberation of one’s truest expression in the world. Attendance This ceremony is an invitation for mothers and women to have a sacred space for themselves — without the outside tending of children or responsibilities— to return deeply home within the goodness of their bodies, fill up, and pour again. Drive Time & Directions The drive is 45 minutes from Asheville to the Temple. Give yourself 1 HOUR and set your time to arrive before 6:15pm, allowing space to enjoy the MAGNIFICENT beauty of the mountains, to park with ease, and have ample time to sign-in and receive. Set your gps with the directions before you drive through Leicester, as service can be spotty. Directions will be posted in the group discussion of the event. Through ceremony, spiritual practice, archetypal wisdom, and Akashic communion, she creates pathways for deeper connection with self, soul, Spirit, and the unseen—guiding others to cultivate the inner coherence, intuitive knowing, and authentic authority that emerge when we remember how to be in relationship with the sacred. Her work is an invitation to become sourced from within: to live in communion with the mystery, recognize the synchronicities woven through everyday life, and bring the wisdom of the unseen into embodied relationship with the life you are here to create. To be surrounded by beautiful embodied women, who are truly embodying their true forms and enjoying themselves. Reverberating all of the emotions, the full spectrum. I could feel it all, everybody. It’s so incredibly powerful. This is the most healing space I have ever entered." - Heidi L. "The Women's Temple Dance is an incredible offering within our community. My experience was absolutely profound, on so many levels. The container that Rachel creates is deeply sacred and upheld in the utmost safety. I was able to call threads of myself back into my body after the recent impact of a car accident. I am grateful for the upliftment within sisterhood that Rachel so authentically and genuinely offers. Her love and devotion are palpable! A true blessing." - Ganaia K. "I enjoyed the dance so much. I felt the physical benefits specifically in my abdominal area and hips, which were loosened up for days after the event- I feel there are many benefits which continue to last. It was very therapeutic with the guided movement, which helped me get into my body. I felt like I was in a state of magic, in all the right ways. Thank you again for putting together such an amazing event in a gorgeous space. I am really looking forward to attending the next dance!" - Abby S. "I feel it is essential for women to have a space where they do not feel the need to control themselves. The WDT created so much space for me to be able to let my body express how it wanted, without being afraid of judgment- which I have not felt in a really long time. Many spaces are said to create safety, with the saftey directly related to being regulated or keeping it "in the middle". Rachel has created a space where you are allowed and encouraged to get wild, big and expressive! I did not feel this as a threat to the safety of myself or others in the space, which is important! I learned how to untemper myself, allowing time to fully release, not limiting my body at all, by being with the sensations as they truly were.
