A night of Americana & Bluegrass music featuring THE WELFARE LINERS TONY TIDWELL & FRIENDS Friday October 9, 2026 @ Hendershot's • All ages - All seated show! • Advance Tickets are $10 (+tax/fees), $15 day of show • Limited # of reserved two-top tables available • Venue is located at 237 Prince Avenue in Athens, GA The Welfare Liners are an Athens, GA based bluegrass and folk band known for their rich brother harmonies and original compositions. With two albums and an EP already under their belt, the band is gearing up to release their newest record. Tony Tidwell is a singer-songwriter/guitarist from South Carolina who was the force behind 90’s rock-n-roll band, The Scalded Dogs, now joined by Amy Borders on violin and viola, and Chris Ellenburg on acoustic guitar for a more intimate experience with vocal harmonies.
