Jordan has served in a variety of founding editorial leadership positions, including as founding editor of Thrillist Atlanta, cofounder of nonprofit community journalism organization Canopy Atlanta, digital program director at Atlanta radio station WVEE-FM, and senior editor for Black culture at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Jordanalso serves as board chair for the Atlanta Press Club, is U.S. South academy chair for 50 Best Restaurants, and won the James Beard Foundation’s 2024 Jonathan Gold Local Voice Award for journalism.
