Write Club Atlanta: Autumn Up/Fall Down

Atlanta's longest running and most ferocious competitive live lit show is heating up the Brig at Argosy in East Atlanta Village! This season, as always, we are thankful for CARNAGE. Stomp on down through these crispy leaves to WRITE CLUB ATLANTA, and get stuffed with brilliance by some of Atlanta's greatest writers! November's line-up: Laura Futrell (YES) v. Abe Riojas (NO) Autumn Steinberg (RIVER) v. Miranda Hawkins (SEA) Maged Roushdi (BUSINESS) v. Jessica Handler (PLEASURE) Doors at 7:30pm, show at 8pm! No food service in the Brig; come early to eat at Argosy, and get your second round from our bartender in the Brig. Originating in Chicago in 2011, Write Club is three bouts of two opposing writers expounding on opposing ideals for 7 minutes apiece. Since 2012, Write Club Atlanta has been inviting Atlanta’s fiercest writers to throw down with works ranging from poetry to short fiction to personal narrative to genres we don’t have a name for yet. Produced by Mykal Alder June, Dani Herd, and Viceroy Emeritus Nicholas Tecosky, Write Club Atlanta is Atlanta’s tenderest and bloodiest monthly live lit event.
