Atlanta's longest running and most ferocious competitive live lit show is heating up the Brig at Argosy in East Atlanta Village! What is spooky season if not a time for combat? Alien v. Predator, Freddy v. Jason, Pumpkin Spice v. Our Ever Dwindling Grasp on Sanity? Bring your candy buckets down to Argosy on October 8 for the literary kaiju battle that is WRITE CLUB ATLANTA. Ryan J (DREAM) v. Topher Payne (NIGHTMARE) Rebekah Suellau (GUTS) v. Zack Linly (GLORY) David Luse (MAN) v. Nicole Costantini (MONSTER) Doors at 7:30pm, show at 8pm! Originating in Chicago in 2011, Write Club is three bouts of two opposing writers expounding on opposing ideals for 7 minutes apiece. Since 2012, Write Club Atlanta has been inviting Atlanta’s fiercest writers to throw down with works ranging from poetry to short fiction to personal narrative to genres we don’t have a name for yet.
