Drum Circle with Victoria Boateng

Learn the basics of African djembe drumming and join us in a communal drum circle! Join us for our monthly Drum Circle at The Empty Corner, hosted by djembe performer Victoria Boateng! This event will be taking place on Monday, November 23rd, at 6:30 PM, and everyone is invited; no experience is necessary! A drum circle is a communal gathering where group participation and connection through the beat is emphasized and explored. There are several benefits to attending a drum circle, including stress relief, community building, boosted creativity, and improved rhythm! Tickets are $20 per person, and a drum will be provided. Victoria Boateng is an autism advocate. Victoria was diagnosed with autism when she was three years old and couldn't speak until she was 7 years old.
