Frida Kahlo: A south west inspired Floral Design Class

Channel Frida Kahlo's vibrant spirit and iconic artistic vision in this immersive, hands-on floral design class. Channel the vibrant spirit and iconic artistic vision of Frida Kahlo in this immersive, hands-on floral design class. Drawing inspiration from Frida's famous floral headpieces, bold self-portraits, and deep connection to Mexican culture, you will create a striking arrangement that blends intense Southwestern color with dramatic textural elements. Working with a rich palette of fiery oranges, saturated reds, cobalt blues, and vivid pinks, you’ll learn how to construct structural, living art using fresh blooms, Southwestern greenery, and striking potted or cut cactus accents. There is no previous experience needed. All students will need to bring is a willingness to learn and create in an open and collaborative design space. At the end of the class, students will leave with their own handcrafted centerpiece and the confidence to make flower arrangements at home. This two hour experience is truly one-of-a-kind.
