Lumonics Immersed

Lumonics is a captivating multisensory experience presented by one of the first and longest-running light art projects in the U.S. The late Light and Space artists Dorothy and Mel Tanner originated this highly-acclaimed transformative art in 1969, and it continues to evolve. Engage with 75 light sculptures before, during, and after the performance, in rotation from a collection of over 200 Tanner works. This is one of the highlights of the evening. There are flashing lights that emanate from the sculptures during parts of the performance, but no strobing. Orchestrated live, many consider the uniqueness of the light sculptures and their color changes one of their favorite parts. The original music is derived from keyboards and sound samples of voices and instruments from around the world. The immersive experience is developed from multimedia techniques originating 55+ years ago and that continues to this day. It is an exhilarating * way to come to your senses!
