New Year's Eve Book Masquerade

Join us at the historic Richard-Hart Estate for a masquerade ball to celebrate the launch of Emy McGuire's second book, THEY ONLY FOUND HER. Come dressed in your finest formal-wear along with a mask for an afternoon of music, dancing, photos, book signing, and the author reading from her new book. THEY ONLY FOUND HER follows the story of a private island, extravagent parties, and the hosts who disappear from their own masquerade. Emy McGuire is a local author whose books have been translated into multiple languages. THEY ONLY FOUND HER was given a starred review from Booklist and named a "masterpiece" by Jennifer van der Kleut. Emy's debut novel about a millionaire ghost ship, NO ONE ABOARD, released last year. Her original pirate musical, The Legend of Anne Bonny, won Colorado's best new show of 2025 and was a SHE NYC Arts Finalist (cast album coming to streaming services soon). You can find her at @emy_mcguire on instagram, @emymcguire on TikTok, and her website emymcguire.com for up-to-date news on her writing and performing projects.
