BiGAUSTIN presents: "Coffee Talk" with Dr. Elaina Jackson, Ph.D., APR

“Coffee Talk” is a series of events that ignites the spirit of women over conversation and connection over coffee. Join us! What If They Never Visit Your Website? How AI Is Changing the Way Customers Find, Compare and Choose Businesses. For years, small business owners have been told to build a great website, improve their SEO and get to the top of Google. All of that still matters. But the rules of search are changing again. Today, potential customers are asking AI tools for recommendations, comparing businesses through AI-generated answers and making decisions before they ever click a website. So what does that mean for your business? In this practical session, Dr. Elaina Jackson will break down how AI is changing customer search and what small business owners can do to make sure their businesses are findable, understandable and accurately represented. We’ll move beyond the jargon to explore SEO, GEO and AEO in plain language, identify some old digital habits that need to change, and walk through practical steps businesses can take now without a huge marketing team or budget. We’ll also discuss when and how to use different social media platforms. The goal isn’t to chase every new technology. It’s to make sure that when a potential customer asks, “Who can help me?” your business has a chance to be part of the answer.
