About the Artist: Wade Koniakowsky’s life and career have been shaped by two lifelong passions: painting, which he began at age six, and surfing, which he took up before age twelve. He co-founded an award-winning agency and crafted national campaigns for major brands like Billabong, Vans, Tommy Bahama, Roxy, and the Surfrider Foundation—earning over 300 creative awards along the way. Eventually, Wade redirected his creative focus entirely to fine art. Today, he is internationally recognized for his evocative paintings that celebrate the beauty, energy, and culture of the ocean. His work reflects a deep connection to coastal life and the transformative power of the sea. Beyond the canvas, Wade remains deeply committed to philanthropic projects that merge art, community, and ocean culture.
