dadageek Presents: Caroline Davis | Aida Shirazi | Hexpartner

Featuring live sets by: CAROLINE DAVIS AIDA SHIRAZI HEXPARTNER dadageek presents an intimate evening of experimental music headlined by saxophonist and composer Caroline Davis, whose new solo album Fallows (Ropeadope, 2026) pairs alto saxophone with live electronics and field recordings captured during a residency on a Wyoming ranch. A Guggenheim fellow and DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star, the Brooklyn-based Davis moves fluidly between jazz, improvisation, and electro-acoustic composition. She is joined by Austin-based Iranian composer Aida Shirazi, whose music for instruments, voice, and electronics draws on literature, language, and Iranian classical tradition. The night also features a live audiovisual set from Hexpartner, the electronic project of Austin composer and multi-instrumentalist Grace Sydney Pham. Classically trained and one of the city’s most distinctive audiovisual artists, Hexpartner pairs richly layered electronic sound with generative visuals made in real time.
