Pull up a leather chair and settle in under the lamplight. Victorian Knights is a chess club for anyone who loves the game — sharp players and rusty ones alike. This new chess club is hosted in the kind of room that makes you want to slow down: dark wood, worn velvet, pool tables humming in the background, and just enough light over each board to see your next move. Bring a friend or come solo and get paired up. Boards, clocks, and pieces are provided! Just bring your best opening and a thirst for competitive chess (or drinks). Casual games, friendly trash talk, and the occasional genuinely tense endgame all welcome. Every second and fourth Monday of the month, 7–9 PM. First move's on you.
