Women Walking Waller with Beth Coffey and 1Hotel

All women, all paces, Y'all welcome. Women Walking Waller is a free women's walking group in downtown Austin, hosted by local Beth Coffey. Every other Thursday at 9:00am, we explore the newly opened paths along Waller Creek and the Waterloo Greenway. If you're looking for things to do in Austin this fall, start here. We gather at Neighbors Cafe, the coffee shop inside the brand new 1 Hotel Austin, part of the Waterline, the 74-story tower that is now the tallest building in Texas. Have you seen it up close? From there we'll stroll the safe, clean, newly opened walkways along the creek, cross the new pedestrian bridges, spot fish in the restored water (guaranteed), and take in the Rainey Street District. Walk and learn: the Waterloo Greenway proves what we can accomplish together: restoring what was harmed, revealing what was hidden, and creating green space for all. As a local, Beth will share the restoration story behind this 35-acre park system and the trails connecting all the way to Lady Bird Lake. Come to move your body, learn something new, and connect with good people. Walk at your own pace, bring a friend, bring the stroller, or just bring yourself.
