Join us in person on Wednesday, October 21 at 6 pm to learn how to unlock your veteran homebuying benefits and score your dream home! Veteran Homebuying Workshop 101: Unlock Your Benefits! We’re excited to be back with the Kern County Veterans Service Department for our 4th homebuyer workshop together! Once again, we’re bringing valuable information, resources, and local professionals together to help Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Veterans, and their loved ones navigate the path to homeownership. We are bringing in a local team of real estate and lending professionals to break down VA loan options, homeownership with $0 down, and even investment opportunities in a way that actually makes sense. We see the frustration time and time again where Veterans aren’t aware of the full range of benefits they’ve earned, so we want to bridge that gap and give you a chance to get clarity and resources right from the start. My co-agent, Jose Luis Pola, is a U.S. Army Veteran who has navigated these benefits personally. He’ll be sharing his firsthand experience with the process and offering insight into some of the tips and tricks he used to maximize his own results. Our lending partner, Luis Renteria, a U.S. Marine Veteran, has prepared a very exciting and informative presentation to simplify the financial side of the process. We understand there’s a level of trust that comes from hearing this information from those who have actually been through it. We’re also incredibly grateful to have several of our community partners joining us that evening. They’ll have an opportunity to briefly share the services, resources, and support they provide to Veterans and their families.
