Whether you’re a lifelong Poe reader, fascinated by Baltimore’s haunted history, or simply looking for an excuse to embrace spooky season early, you’re invited to join us for a night where the line between history and the supernatural gets a little blurry. Come for the cocktails. Stay for the stories. As darkness falls, we'll dive into an evening of live ghost storytelling, exploring eerie tales, local legends, Poe lore, and stories of things that may still be lingering long after they should have disappeared. Dim lights, strong drinks, strange stories. You get the idea. 🔮 TAROT CARD READINGS What does the future have in store for you? Throughout the evening, visit our tarot card reader for a glimpse beyond the veil. Ask about love, your future, the path ahead—or perhaps something a little darker. Just remember: you asked the cards. 🍸 POE-INSPIRED COCKTAILS It wouldn't be a night dedicated to Poe without a few spirits. Our bar will be serving an exclusive menu of cocktails created specifically for the evening and inspired by Poe's stories, characters, and beautifully dark imagination—including The Black Cat. Expect drinks worthy of midnight toasts, mysterious encounters, and questionable decisions. ✒️ SHORT STORY CONTEST Think you could make Poe proud? Put your darkest ideas on paper and enter our Short Story Contest. We’re inviting guests to embrace the macabre and show us their best spooky storytelling skills. Ghosts, murder, madness, mysterious strangers, things that go bump in the night—the darker, the better. More details on contest rules and submissions will be shared with attendees. 🐦‍⬛ COME FOR THE POE. STAY FOR THE PARANORMAL. Dress for the occasion if you dare—gothic, Victorian, dark academia, witchy, literary, and spooky-season attire are highly encouraged, but never required. Grab your fellow lovers of literature, ghosts, cocktails, tarot, and all things strange and unusual for an evening unlike your typical night out. Baltimore and Edgar Allan Poe have been intertwined for nearly two centuries. On September 25th, we're bringing his world back to life. In Fells Point, where Poe was last seen alive. The prepaid amount will then be deducted from your final total. Any remaining balance, including taxes, gratuity, or additional purchases, will be due at the event. All ticket purchases must be done through The Point to avoid scammer situations.
