As patients, walking can provide health benefits like reduced inflammation and improved physical and mental health. So we walk! Join us... Since 1970, the rate in which Black and Brown patients have been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) has increased by 135%. That’s 3x higher than White patients (39%) making it critical to spread awareness about signs and symptoms. If diagnosed early, it potentially lowers the risk of managing IBD in a more severe state! As patients, walking can provide health benefits like reduced inflammation and improved physical and mental health. Especially for patients in lower to moderate states of IBD. So we walk! Join us on Oct 24th at 9:30am ET. The Baltimore, MD walk will be led by Dominique Daniels. Note: Attendees will be notified if the location changes due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
