New Moon Medicine Making Series: Libra & Valerian

Set your intentions for the new moon in Leo and transmute those intentions into herbal medicine-making and self-care techniques! Valerian is known as an unpleasantly stinky plant (to some) but it is ruled by Venus. Valerian is popular in sleep, anxiety, and muscle relaxation blends. This class will explore the polar energy of Libra season, the qualities of Valerian, and the folk method of making a valerian glycerite. Participants wishing to make their own glycerite in class to take home must bring their own jar and glycerine (sold in the shop if needed), valerian will be provided. About the Instructor: Yaya is a rootworker and artist. Everyday she grows and evolves in her knowledge of herbalism and her place in the cosmos. Yaya believes that creative and connection with natural world is every person’s divine birthright, and hopes to awaken that in all those around her.
