An ecstatic dance journey for softness and self-kindess, inspired by the feeling of moss on one's feet. Soft as Moss | An Ecstatic Dance for Self-Kindness As the leaves turn colors and we ease into the season of fall, we gather together for an evening of being kind to ourselves and one another. This event is inspired by the joyful, loving feeling of soft moss on one's bare feet. How can you embody the softness of moss through dance and somatic embodiment? We'll start our evening together gathering in circle to feel into central themes for the dance and open our hearts to learning from the wisdom of our bodies. We will then play movement games to practice consent and wiggle and giggle out any nerves going into the night. As we begin our dance journey, the music will guide us through embodying kindness and authentic expression through movement, stillness, dance, playfullness, and radical expression of self. Come exactly as you are. We will end our night together in a heart-sharing circle. This sharing circle is a place for reflection, integration, and witnessing. Everything shared in circle stays in circle. No judgment allowed. This is a space to express the fullness of your human BEING. We cannot wait to dance with you! Come dance. Come soften. Save intimate talks for the sides so everyone can move freely. • Celebrate Each Other: This is a judgment-free space.
