Their Memory Is Our Blessing

Their Memory Is Our Blessing 🕯️🍞 In honor of Chodesh Kislev, join us for a meaningful and hands-on afternoon as we make challah completely from scratch—mixing, kneading, and braiding together in a warm and welcoming space. As we prepare the challah, we’ll explore the Jewish tradition of honoring the souls of those we have lost and how the mitzvot we do in their memory can bring elevation and meaning to their neshamot. Bring the name of someone whose memory you would like to honor. Together, through the mitzvah of challah, remembrance, and community, we’ll create something beautiful that connects us to those we love and carry with us. No challah-making experience is necessary. All ingredients and materials are provided. Come bake, connect, remember, and discover how grief through mitzvot can help transform loss into a lasting blessing.
