Introducing Louisiana.Invests There's real interest in investing in local startups across Louisiana — what's missing is a clear way to start. LA.Invests is a one-day, invitation-only session built to close that gap. Hosted by The Idea Village and EAP, alongside 3rd Coast Venture Summit and LA.io, this is for people who already have the standing to invest — successful or exited founders, physicians, energy-sector executives, attorneys, family-office principals — but haven't had a clear way in. No investing background required, just the capacity and the curiosity. Over the course of the day, attendees will: Meet the fund managers and group principals actually deploying capital in Louisiana right now Watch two real companies pitch, and sit in on the conversation about what makes a deal work Get introduced to the FUEL Investor Alliance, a live source of Louisiana deal flow Learn what it takes to start an investment group, join one, or bring a dormant one back to life Everyone leaves with a real map of where Louisiana's capital sits, a few new relationships, and a concrete next step if they want one. Free parking, breakfast, and lunch are included. This session is capped at 15 to 20 people to keep it small and useful.
