Adoption community members are invited to this free event presented by LAAB. A short documentary will be followed by discussion. Join Us for Voices of Open Adoption! This free educational event, presented by the Louisiana Adoption Advisory Board (LAAB) is open to all. We'll present a short documentary, "I'll See You Later," which tells real-life open adoption stories shared by families, followed by a discussion. In open adoption, the birth mother or birth father is a welcome part of the child's life while they are raised by their adoptive parents. CEUs are available for social work professionals. There is a $10 fee for the CEU certificate. November is National Adoption Month. Join us as we explore and learn about all aspects of the adoption experience.
