Get ready to kick things off at the PlusOne Arts Block Party! This in-person bash is all about celebrating creativity, the arts and community. Swing by the 700 Block of Cookman Ave in Asbury Park to check out awesome art, enjoy local vendors, experience immersive activations and more. PlusOne - the three-weekend art party from Wooden Walls Public Art Project - will bring new murals, immersive installations, exhibitions, art tours, interactive experiences and more to Asbury Park. Inspired by the city's amusement and music legacies, PlusOne will turn Asbury Park into an open creative studio where art becomes a shared public experience. At the heart of PlusOne is a simple idea: artists invite artists. Inspired by the tradition of bringing a “plus one,” to an event, participating artists have invited another artist into the project — creating an expanding network of collaboration, discovery and creative exchange.
