Let's Keep the Conversation Going! 🌿 Central Oregon Chapter Meet and Greet Join Us on Friday November 6 at 3pm for a casual, in-person gathering where local holistic practitioners and healthcare professionals can come together to connect, share ideas, and learn ways you can support The Oregon Healing Arts Network (OHAN) statewide initiative that connects healing arts practitioners, mental health professionals, healthcare providers, and community wellness leaders. Our goal is to bridge the gap between healing arts and conventional healthcare through collaboration, education, and meaningful dialogue for a whole-person wellness approach. This month we will have 3 presentations covering the following topics: After years of involvement in Deschutes County health systems and creating cohesive relationships within Councils, committees, advisory groups, and workshops Sanya Membe has learned that local governments all over the State are passionate and working hard to create new strategies for health care systems. She will talk on the many ways these agencies are collaborating and integrating to create a sustainable community development structure for "right to choose" wellness strategies. These systems are now evolving to support healing in ways that the clients do not become forever patients and therefore generating a flow state within the health and wellness industries. Nancy Phillips is a certified Access Bars practitioner, a gentle, hands-on modality that clears energetic blockages in the mind and body, this modality bridges ancient wisdom to modern science. Nancy will introduce us to some revolutionary class ll medical devices called Healy and Maghealy. This unique frequency therapy works with individualized microcurrents, that can help one realign the body's energy and promote balance on a cellular level and can be used directly with the person being present, or remotely, to send healing frequencies to manage ones physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. She will also talk on 2 other medical devices that have been used to treat PTSD. The Aura Lounge (Vibroacoustic) and HealthyLine PEMF Infrared mats that deliver sound and vibrational and Pulse Electric Magnetic Frequencies. These are especially helpful for those who are not comfortable being touched during therapy. Since incorporating these tools into her access bars practice, she has witnessed some profound results. Dave Eveland has been a strength trainer and bodyworker for almost 20 years. He has studied and uses many modalities in his work but what he found most valuable, was Neurokinetic Therapy. Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) addresses motor control. Motor control is our ability to regulate and direct the mechanisms required to produce movement and postural alignments. NKT is a protocol that allows for precise muscle testing and pairing of structures across the body. Dave uses both an orthopedic western AND an intuitive esoteric approach to his sessions with the people he works with.
