Style in the Wild

Explore how shape, fit, color, and silhouette change the way clothes look and feel at this casual, in-person style event. Style in the Wild is an in-person event for the local community. Style in the Wild Your body is already here. Let's dress it. Stop waiting for your body to change before you start having fun with clothes! Join me for a hands-on styling adventure through three thrift, vintage, and consignment shops, where we'll explore how to dress the body you have RIGHT NOW. You'll learn the fundamentals of dressing for your body shape, choosing colors that complement your natural coloring, and understanding the science behind building a beautifully balanced outfit. We'll explore how shape, proportion, fit, color, and silhouette influence the way clothing looks and feels on your body. Along the way, we'll hunt for pieces that highlight what you love, experiment with unexpected styles, and discover why some clothes make you feel fabulous while others just…don't. This isn't about hiding your "problem areas," following rigid fashion rules, or trying to look like someone else. It's about understanding your unique body, expressing your personality, and learning to shop with confidence, creativity, and pleasure. And because great style doesn't have to cost a fortune, we're doing it all in the thrift-store wild! Your body is already here. Let's dress it.
