The Workshop: Beyond the Algorithm

Branding for Artists and Creatives. Algorithms change. Who you are shouldn’t. Join us for a free morning on branding that stays true. Every few months there’s a new rule: post more reels, post less, use this sound, chase that trend. Most of it is gone by next season, leaving artists tired and second-guessing their own work. Beyond the Algorithm starts from the other end. Join Jacqui Jones of One Degree MMM for a 90-minute workshop on getting clear about what you’re about: your work, your voice, and the people it’s for. That’s the part of your brand that lasts. For artists and creative professionals who want to show up online without losing themselves in the process. About the facilitator Jacqui Jones is the CEO of One Degree MMM, a Birmingham-based marketing and branding firm. She and her team help entrepreneurs and small businesses build marketing strategies that fit who they are, not just what’s trending. Jacqui works on the belief that a strong brand starts with integrity and stays rooted in it, and that one degree of clarity can be the difference between “hot” and “boiling.” About Continental Creative Continental Creative is a nonprofit creative campus in Birmingham. Our workshops give local artists practical tools to build sustainable creative lives. This workshop is free. Donations help keep it that way. You can add one when you register.
