Hi, I’m Elaina Burt, proud founder of Charlie’s Chance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in love, resilience, and the unforgettable legacy of my little cousin, Charlie Mae. Diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy as an infant, Charlie’s 8-year journey was one of courage, grace, and light. Her strength inspired everyone who knew her and continues to inspire the work we do every day. Charlie's Chance is more than a tribute to Charlie Mae; it’s a promise to carry forward her spirit by making a difference in the lives of epilepsy patients and families facing similar challenges by educating our communities, supporting families, and creating real change. I’m so excited to join together for a magically special night at the 5th Annual Wings of Hope Gala Dinner at the Southern Museum of Flight benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Alabama. This event has raised almost $150,000 in four years and I'm so excited for what's to come!
