Choose your own adventure or join our guided Doggie Paddle Tour. 📍 EVENT DETAILS When: Every 3rd Sunday of the month Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Last Launch: 3:30 PM Starting Location: Sunrise Paddleboards 2520 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL Destination: Colohatchee Park & Dog Park Approximate Distance: 1.2 miles each way Approximate Paddle Time: 20–30 minutes each way Skill Level: Beginner-friendly / Easy 🛶 CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE 🐾 PADDLE ON YOUR OWN — $35 PER PERSON Want to explore at your own pace? Grab your kayak or paddleboard and head out on your own dog-friendly adventure. Your experience includes: • Kayak or paddleboard rental • Paddle and standard safety equipment • Basic launch orientation • Route information • Time to explore the waterways • Access to the Doggie Paddle Day experience $35 per person 🧭 GUIDED DOGGIE PADDLE TOUR — +$30 PER PERSON Want someone to lead the way? Upgrade your rental and follow one of our guides on a scenic paddle toward Colohatchee Dog Park. The guided experience is perfect for first-time paddlers, visitors unfamiliar with the waterways, or anyone who simply wants to relax and follow the leader. Add $30 per person to your paddle rental. Total with guided tour: $65 per person. 🐕 DOGGIE LIFE VEST RENTALS Keep your pup comfortable and more visible around the water with one of our fun doggie life vests. Available styles may include: 🐝 Bumble Bee Style 🦈 Shark Fin Style Features include: • Buoyant design • Secure adjustable fit • Top carrying/lift handle • High-visibility colors • Fun dog-friendly designs Rental Rates 1 Day — $15 3 Days — $35 1 Week — $50 Available in Small, Medium and Large for dogs approximately 20–90 lbs. Life vests are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so advance reservations are recommended. Please give us a call to reserve your doggy life vest. 🌴 WHAT TO EXPECT This isn't a race or an intense workout. It's a laid-back South Florida water adventure built around spending quality time with your dog. Expect beautiful waterways, plenty of opportunities for photos, other dog lovers, and a chance to give your pup an experience that's a little different from the normal trip to the dog park. Paddle. Bond. 🐾 🎒 WHAT TO BRING We recommend bringing: • Water for yourself • Plenty of drinking water for your dog • Dog leash • Waste bags • Towel • Sunscreen • Hat and/or sunglasses • Waterproof phone case • Dog treats • Comfortable clothes that can get wet • Your dog's life vest if you already own one Please keep dogs under your control around other guests and animals. 🐶 WHO IS THIS FOR? Dogs should be reasonably comfortable around people, other dogs, and water activities. Owners are responsible for supervising and controlling their dogs throughout the experience. Weather, tides, water conditions, and other safety factors may affect the route or event. For everyone's safety, routes or launch times may be adjusted when necessary. Participation in the guided experience does not guarantee that every dog or paddler will complete the entire route.
