Raise the Roof: Gem State Turns One

Join us to celebrate one year of our statewide coalition making progress toward more home choices for Idaho! Celebrate one year of Gem State Housing Alliance A year ago, people who cared about housing in Idaho kept ending up on the same calls, working on the same problem separately. So they decided to work on it together, and Gem State Housing Alliance was born as Idaho's first statewide pro-housing coalition. In our first year, we've: • Welcomed more than 100 Founding Members of The Alliance • Reviewed zoning codes in 28 Idaho cities to find what's standing in the way of new homes • Launched our City Technical Assistance Program to support cities in building more home choices • Connected city officials and pro-housing Idahoans in every region through our monthly Housing Network Calls Join us to celebrate! Mingle with pro-housing advocates, local leaders, and neighbors who care about Idaho's housing future. Grab a drink, enjoy a cupcake, and toast what we've built together. What to expect: • 4:00 p.m. — Mingle and connect • 5:30 p.m. — Brief remarks from founding leadership on our first year and what's ahead • 6:00 p.m. — Event concludes Cupcakes on us, and drinks are available at the bar. December 1 is also Giving Tuesday! We'll share how you can support Gem State's second year of making it easier to build the homes Idahoans need. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or a coworker who should be part of this conversation. It takes all of us to build Idaho's housing future!
