An Irish Christmas with Ishna

The beloved contemporary Irish ensemble RETURNS with their spirited holiday celebration of community, connection, and tradition An Irish Christmas with Ishna is more than a concert. It is a celebration of Christmas through the music, stories, and traditions of Ireland. Led by Irish tenor Ciarán Nagle and fiddler/vocalist Tara Novak, Ishna invites audiences into the heart of an Irish Christmas gathering, where music, storytelling, poetry, and dance come together. Drawing on traditions passed down through generations, the show blends beloved seasonal favorites with Irish songs and tunes, creating a performance that is both timeless and joyful. At the center of the production is Ishna's exceptional ensemble of musicians, whose performances are marked by artistry, humor, and a deep connection to the tradition they share. Joining the group are some of the world's finest Irish dancers, bringing extraordinary skill and charm to the stage. Throughout the show, stories and poetry offer glimpses into Ireland's rich cultural heritage, adding depth, meaning, and plenty of laughter along the way. In 2026, Ishna released its debut album, “Slí Amach: Way Out”, a critically acclaimed recording that earned praise for its inventive arrangements and deep respect for Irish traditional music. The album is officially on this year’s Grammy® ballot for “Best Global Music Album”, further establishing the ensemble as a rising voice in contemporary Irish music.
