Classic Series: Craft Beer & Cheese Pairings, $75

Come join us for an evening dedicated to local brews and artisanal cheeses! Some historians argue that fermented beverage production emerged some 12,000 years ago, alongside the development of grain agriculture. Sure, it probably looked different then, but human civilization has been brewing beer for practically as long as it has existed. Though cheesemaking may have come a little later, beer and cheese have been crucial components of the diets of numerous civilizations around the world for thousands of years. In this class, your instructor will explore this ancient relationship through a modern lens. We’ll walk through some of our favorite beer and cheese pairings, across a spectrum of styles and production practices. Together, we’ll discuss the different traits of different styles of beer and cheese, and how to pick the perfect beer for your cheese board or dinner party. Come dig in to this ancient pairing with us! To fully participate in the class: 1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, beer, and accompaniments for one. 2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a quarter. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!). 3. This event is for 21+. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
