Amidst growing demand for freshwater and a more uncertain supply, Harmony will help fortify water supplies around the world by helping people make the most out of 1) industrial wastewater 2) seawater and 3) saline groundwater. Conventional reverse osmosis (RO) desalination requires too much energy and produces too much brine. Additionally, membrane fouling hurts energy-efficiency and limits water recovery rates. The RO process is out-of-date; it has remained fundamentally unchanged for 50 years. We have re-invented the way reverse osmosis works. Our patented batch process is the upgrade desalination plants need. Our advanced desalting process saves energy by operating with variable pressure.
