Letters from God: A Spiritual Exploration of the Hebrew Alphabet

Discover the spiritual architecture of the universe in this class exploring the twenty-two letters of the Aleph-Beit -- the Hebrew letters that build words and create worlds. We will examine these letters of light, discovering how each letter’s name, structure, and numerical value reveals its unique energy and how this energy contributes to building relationship with the Creator. The class is based on the introduction to Chava's book, Letters from God: The Alphabet of Creation, to be published this fall by Mosaica Press. Join Chava on this illuminating journey to reframe how you view the Hebrew language! Please note: this class is taking place before the tavern opens so there will not be drinks available during the class but we invite you to join us at when the tavern opens at the end of class. . . . Chava Ashkenazi Bloom is the author of Letters from God: The Alphabet of Creation, to be released this fall by Mosaica Press. In 2014, Chava created and facilitated a chabura exploring the topic, “Finding Your Purpose,” which was based on Kabbalistic and Chassidic texts, and explored various approaches to this intriguing subject, including an examination of the individual letters in one’s name. This segued into her exploration of texts, both ancient and modern, researching the mystical meanings of the letters of the Aleph Beit which led to her writing Letters from God. In addition to her research on the Hebrew letters, Chava’s particular interests lie in studying and teaching on the topics of our relationship with God and the cosmic dance of the Masculine and Feminine. Chava is a popular lecturer, both live and on line, in Israel, the US, Canada, and even Africa, speaking to both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences, both secular and religious. Chava lives with her husband Shaul Gedalyah in Katzrin, “capital of the Golan,” where she writes, teaches, and is a Craniosacral and Healing Touch practitioner.
