Cuddles, consent, community and tasty snacks. 🌿 Community Cuddles: A Gathering for Healing, Connection & Consent I host Community Cuddles because I believe touch, consent, and real communication can change the world. What do you think the world needs more of? What if we are creating that right here, in a living room in Boulder, every month? Would you like to join us? Something happens when humans touch each other with care and genuine permission. Nervous systems settle. Loneliness loosens its grip. Tension that was braced begins to soften. Smiles become more genuine. People begin to trust and to have their trust respected. I've watched this microcosom of the world change dozens of times in my living room, with strangers who arrive nervous and leave feeling quietly joyful and more human. Community Cuddles is a monthly gathering for platonic, consensual touch. It is structured, welcoming, and built on clear agreements. You'll never be required to touch anyone. Simply showing up is enough. Whether you're craving connection, curious what this is, or just ready to feel a little less alone — you're welcome here. 💛 What to Expect 🕑 2:30 PM – Arrival & Setup Settle in, help prepare the space with blankets and pillows, share snacks, and get comfortable. 🕒 2:45 PM – Welcome Circle (Required for all participants) We’ll open the event with grounding, introductions, and a consent and boundaries workshop. This is where we practice how to ask for — and give — clear, verbal “yes” or “no” responses. 🕓 3:45 – 5:30 PM – Open Cuddling Once the container is set, we enter open cuddle time. You may cuddle, sit quietly, or simply observe — all choices are valid. Remember: everyone must ask and receive a verbal “yes” before touching anyone. 🕠 5:30 – 5:45 PM – Closing Circle We’ll wrap up by sharing reflections and gratitude before packing up together. 🕕 5:45 – 6:00 PM – Clean Up & Goodbyes Help fold blankets, finish snacks, plan to meet out for dinner, say farewell or plan your next cuddle adventure. 🌸 Event Guidelines Arrive on Time: Please arrive before the Welcome Circle. This ensures everyone understands the rules and feels safe. You may leave anytime after. Come Clean & Scent-Free: Shower, brush your teeth, and skip perfumes, essential oils, and smoke smells. Your natural, clean self is perfect. Stay Sober: No drugs or alcohol before or during the event. Dress Comfortably: Think cozy, not sexy — pajamas, sweatpants, or yoga clothes. Please remain clothed (at least shorts and a t-shirt) throughout. Bring: Snacks to share (optional), blankets, pillows, or anything that helps you feel cozy. The only required thing to bring is a clean, sober you. 💬 Cuddling with Strangers? It’s normal to feel nervous! You might wonder: • “What if I don’t want to be touched?” • “What if I say yes and change my mind?” • “What if someone says no to me?” All of that is okay. This is a space to practice asking for what you want and saying no when you need to. You’ll never be pressured to touch anyone — ever. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. • Cancellations: If we need to cancel due to weather, illness, or other unforeseen events, your ticket will be valid for any future Community Cuddles within 3 months.
