Sept. 21st Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Feel free to arrive 15 minutes early to set up your supplies. Take a break from life's busy schedule and spend an afternoon doing something just for you. The Watercolor Social is a relaxed, 3-hour painting session designed for adults (18+) who already have some watercolor experience and simply want dedicated time to paint, experiment, and grow alongside other watercolor enthusiasts. Bring any reference photo or idea that inspires you and paint whatever subject you'd like, whether it's a landscape, flowers, animals, architecture, portraits, or something completely unique. Unlike a traditional step-by-step class, everyone will be working on their own painting. Kristi will circulate throughout the session, answering questions, demonstrating techniques, offering feedback, and providing personalized guidance whenever it's needed. To create a welcoming and supportive environment, this session is limited to just 6 participants. With a full class, Kristi's individual attention will naturally be shared among everyone. Some artists may only need a few minutes of guidance, while others may benefit from a bit more coaching, depending on their painting and questions. While Kristi will do her best to spend time with everyone, the focus of this event is on providing dedicated painting time, personalized guidance as needed, and the opportunity to create alongside other adults who share your passion for watercolor. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, inspiring conversation, and peaceful background music while you paint at your own pace. We all intend to make time for creativity, but work, family, and everyday responsibilities often get in the way. The Watercolor Social is your opportunity to intentionally set aside time to practice, improve your skills, and reconnect with the joy of creating. What's Included • Three hours of uninterrupted painting time • Individual advice and technique demonstrations as needed • A small group of only six adult watercolor enthusiasts • A relaxed, encouraging, creative atmosphere Private watercolor lessons with Kristi are $75 per hour. The Watercolor Social offers three hours of painting time, personalized guidance, and individual feedback for only $50, making it an affordable way to continue developing your watercolor skills while painting in the company of fellow artists. Supplies You're encouraged to bring your own watercolor supplies. Don't have supplies, or prefer to travel light? You're welcome to borrow Kristi's professional watercolor materials for a $10 materials fee. Location Kristi's Home Studio 348 Highlands Circle Erie, CO Please Note: The classroom is located in the basement of Kristi's home and is not handicap accessible.
