Lyyra in Concert -- The All-Women Ensemble from the VOCES8 Foundation

The dazzling all-women vocal ensemble redefining what upper-voice singing can sound like. One night only in New Haven. From the VOCES 8 Foundation — a new voice is rising. Trinity on the Green is thrilled to welcome Lyyra, the extraordinary all-women vocal ensemble founded by The VOCES8 Foundation, for a special evening of live choral music on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM. If you know VOCES8 — the Grammy-nominated, globally celebrated British vocal group renowned for its precision and warmth — you already have a sense of the pedigree behind this performance. Lyyra is the Foundation's newest initiative: a sister ensemble built entirely around the singular power of women's voices, and shaped by the same artistic vision and exacting standard that made VOCES8 a world-class name in choral music. Since forming, Lyyra has moved fast — signing an exclusive recording contract with Warner Classics, releasing their debut album Rising along with the EPs More Love and This Christmas, and earning praise across the industry: "Exceptional versatility and skill." — BBC Radio 3 "They are still at the beginning, but their sound is already perfect." — PNP.de Expect a program that moves fluidly across classical, jazz, pop, and folk traditions, showcasing what the group calls "velvety richness alongside star-like brilliance." It's a sound built to fill a room — and Trinity on the Green's historic sanctuary, with its soaring architecture and celebrated acoustics, is exactly the kind of space where that sound comes alive. This is a rare chance to hear an ensemble at the very start of what's already being called one of the most exciting developments in choral music — connected directly to the VOCES8 legacy, and in an intimate setting right here in New Haven. Don't miss it.
