You're invited to my 35th! And the rest of my life

This year I’ve been feeling so impatient to find out what the rest of my life looks like. What am I building towards? Is this the right path? What will my romantic life look like? Why don’t I know the answers to any of these questions?! This year I’ve also felt the ease in the moments where I finally surrender to life’s unfolding. When I remember that I’ll have time to do all the things I want to do, and everything will happen in their own time, I feel an incredible ease in my body and alignment with the world. I’m not the only one who wrestles with the tension of linear time and the experience of time. Ancient Greek distinguished between chronos, the relentless tick of chronological time, and kairos, those spacious moments that feel like they’re outside of time. I want you all to experience I’ve been wrestling with all year- how to enjoy being in the space in-between. Instead of waiting for the the rest of my life, we’re going to SPEEDRUN through it- we’re going to go through the milestone of not just 35th birthday, but my wedding, my retirement and funeral. BUT we’re also going to play games and experiments that allow us to savor minute moments in each milestone. I would love if you could be part of my birthday and the rest of my life. As active participants I expect 1) speeches and toasts where you tell me what happens to me e.g. you always knew I’d marry someone like XYZ or what you’ll miss about me most when I’m dead 2) full bit commitment to exploring all the everything everywhere all at once possibilities  3) outfit changes encouraged, but please bring at least 1 black outfit to funeral.
