The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network is excited to launch Closer to Christ, a new speaker series created especially for adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Each gathering will explore the beauty and richness of our Catholic faith through engaging talks rooted in the Station’s traditional Catholic mission. Our First Talk: The Eucharist As Food For The Journey Join Fr. Rob Contarin as we reflect on the gift of the Holy Eucharist and what it means to us as Catholics. Inspired by the Road to Emmaus, Fr. Rob will explore the Eucharist as Food for the Journey and discuss: · The Road to Emmaus and its connection to the Eucharist · The beauty and wonder of Eucharistic miracles · The Eucharist as the source and summit of our faith · How the Eucharist unites us as a community within the universal Church About Fr. Rob Contarin Fr. Rob was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Buffalo in 2019 and currently serves as parochial vicar for the family of parishes including Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Elma, St. Vincent de Paul in Springbrook, and Immaculate Conception in East Aurora.
