About this event
Give your clothing a second life using visible mending! Sashiko is a practical art form from Japan that reinforces ripped or worn cloth. We will have fabric to practice on, but you are welcome to bring your own clothing to work on too. No experience is needed, but beginner level hand sewing knowledge is helpful. This is detailed work, so bring your glasses if you need them! If you can't make it to this session, there will be a second on Friday, December 4; feel free to come to one or both.
